That doesn't really mean anything. Pelini is getting ready for a conference championship game. They can agree in principle and say, "I haven't been offered the job." The university can go on interviewing whomever they like and say, "We haven't offered the job to anyone." The offer goes like this, "Okay, Bo (or Turner) we offer you the job, based on our earlier agreement in principle, with the details to be worked out by the number crunchers. Deal?" Then he says, "Deal", then walks out to the press room and answers questions from the new home fans. This just gives everybody cover.
I'm not saying they're going to hire Bo. I believe they will hire Bo or Turner Gill. If they announce that Grobe has been hired (or somebody else they've interviewed) I will be shocked. Obviously nothing's official until it's official, but the fact that they are continuing to interview and that Bo is still in Baton Rouge does not mean he's not going to get the job.

I heard he already signed the contract. Money says the day after the SECCG he is announced. I don't know if I can take another year of Bo at LSU.

There was an article floating around this morning from an Omaha TV station (KPTM Fox); but according to all the sources here in Lincoln...as far as we know.....today's meeting is a player's-only meeting and not a press conference.
Granted this whole deal changes hourly...but this is the scoop for now.

i cant fault any coach who wants to go somewhere else.there should be a freeze on coaching until after nc game, or something like that

If Bo interviewed on Monday and Nebraska really wanted the guy- wouldn't they have officially announced it by now?
He doesn't strike me as a guy Tom Osborne would want at Nebraska as a head coach.

Go read up on the kind of person Bob Devaney was. Tom Osborne loved Devaney. Rumor has it that Pelini reminds TO of a young Bob Devaney. I have no confirmation on this, but that's the rumor.
Bo may not be coming to Nebraska. All I know is there are a LOT of coaches out there who could do a worse job of fitting in with our culture.
