Oh, I think I get it. You're smarter than your test scores, you just can't prove it

I took the ACT twice. Got an 18 and a 22.

I have a PhD now. So, I am smarter than my scores, and not only did I prove it, so did my now peers in Academia.

Congrats, you have shown that you have determination. I have a masters degree, as per your request that you edited. A doctorate isn't applicable to my field, unless I want to enter academia.

Your degree proves that you are more educated, not necessarily more intelligent, than those with lesser degrees who may have scored higher on the ACT.

What's your PhD in? I scored a 24 composite in 7th grade and I have a PhD now, too
