I HATE this time of year! I am pretty hung up on the whole "honesty" thing, and it really gives me a bad case of the "bitchy" to see so many grown men all posturing and fighting for air time to lie to and decieve people! It's horribly selfish, and looks like a joke coming from the same "leaders of young men", who go into an athlete's home, and try to sell their program on the merits of character, morals, hard work and good clean livin'! It looks just as bad on every single coach and AD today as it did on Nick (the scumbag) $aban when he pissed on Christmas and gut-punched the owner of the Dolphins last year. Sorry, not being sarcastic, just disgusted! go ahead, let the "woman bashing" start!

I agree. What about the "statement" out of Ole Mrs. a few weeks ago that Coach O WOLUD be back? Didn't they say that? Now I don't think he really deserves to keep his job...it's just that the whole "farce" of putting stuff out into the media with the intent to decieve is crap! this time of year, I think this whole environment is skanky.

no, but it is so understandable that they have to strike while the iron's hot. Sept, Pelini is a genius--maybe the best defense ever. Nov, doesn't know shite from shinola.

I sure don't feel "sorry" for any of them either. I think they make too much money to act like a bunch of kindergarten kids, lying about who get the biggest cookie at snack time! They should all really be expected to stand up and act like REAL MEN! (No umbrellas, no straws, no "shakers" and no lying like a catty, suburban housewife.....)

I feel sorry for HS coaches who have to work just as hard, with FAR less support, less equipment, less talent and in a lot of cases similar pressure for fractions of the money that CFB coaches make
