to corroborate w/that hoax, ferentz has not been offered, and even if offered, there's no guarantee that he would accept anyway.

seems like it's all about timing, though the arky loss sure did make it more interesting.
the thought all this time was that LSU wins out, and the picture gets muddier and muddier as LSU enters into prep for the BCS title game.
but now, all bets are off...ferentz is available now while les would be at about 8pm Saturday night.
still split....
but, they're set to lose their best recruit in Sam McGuffie if Miles gets the job. Miles does not see him as a legit college RB, and mcguffie will go to TAMU if Miles is named head coach at michigan.

How exactly do posters on a Michigan message board know what Miles thinks of a Texas RB committed to Michigan???

I would hope they don't base their coaching decision on getting a RB who's biggest accomplishment is hopping mailboxes
