re: Cam totally failed on the biggest stage of his career

Cam's interception was off a perfectly placed pass that would have had his team inside the 15. The first sack fumble was the direct result of a drop on the previous play (or maybe two plays before) and another drop that would have put his team on the 2 yard line before they missed the FG.
That's almost a hundred yards of offense lost, an interception on his stat sheet, and multiple lost points.
You know what, you're right. How about we call up the NFL and see about getting Cam an award for Most Valuable Moral Victory. It can be an annual thing, the player who maybe would have had better stats if not for the fact that he didn't play well enough to earn them.

Cam played bad, their o-line played bad, their receivers played bad, and they had a shitty offensive game plan in general. Not a good night from that side of the ball.

Did you miss Cam's first pass? The excuses you're making make it seem like you think Cam is an accurate passer.

Elite QBs have had terrible games in the Super Bowl. Agree or disagree?
Elway was elite. In the 1980's. When he finally won his two rings he played meh games in the SB. He was smart enough to turn around and hand off.
Cam is young. His team is young with room to improve. Logic says he will have another chance. Logic also says, " Dan Marino."
Nobody was blocking or denying that Denver front. They chopped down Brady. They chopped down Cam. You could get a time machine and kidnap Joe Montana and put him in that game, and they'd chop him down too.

Yea that was bad. I'm not making any excuses I'm stating facts for the most part. Cam's receivers dropped multiple passes on huge plays and his team committed multiple penalties.
Cam had a few mistakes too for sure but he played well enough to win.

Wasn't the only bad thing he did last night either. He had a terrible night, completely by his own doing. It is what it is. Stop making excuses. He sucked.

How many other bad passes did he throw?

Probably 2-3. At least ten of his 18 incompletions were throw aways under pressure and drops.

I enjoy watching Cam play, and I won't rag on him for coming up short in the SB (has happened to plenty of great QBs), but I WILL say that I'm disappointed in the way he handled himself in defeat. Thought he'd gotten past that childishness, but apparently I was mistaken. Bad look for him

This I agree with, I just don't think it has much to do with his play on the field.

No, he did not.

After thorough review of the fumble gif Ive changed my mind. I don't think Cam pussed out but I think rather he was too close to the ball to dive. Once he had a better angle on it he dove in there and tried to get it back.

You realize this makes no sense, don't you? His sucking happened on the field.

If no one else made any mistakes then they may have won, but that's just not going to happen. Cam made mistakes that really cost them as did other offensive players. I don't think anyone on the offense can point fingers at anyone else. They all sucked.
