Fyi, This is a link to ebay. Some of his stuff is retail $. I've bought the Makita cordless planer, jigsaw, multi-tool and drywall screw gun. All were way less than retail. The jigsaw was about 50% less. The multi tool was about 20-30%

It really depends on what you are going to use it for. I am a heavy DIYer and I am fine with the quality of the Rigid set from Home Depot. Can't beat the lifetime warranty if you register it correctly. The worst thing about the Rigid cordless system is the radio(s) leave a little to be desired. It's my most used tool and I really don't like the one I have. They have a newer one out now but I haven't taken a look at it yet.

I need a good set of tools and have nothing.
DeWalt? Milwaukee?
Explain to me brush vs brushless?
What trades use what tools?
I'm confused as frick as to where to start
If you've made it this far in life and don't know the answers to any those questions, I'd probably just stick to tea and crumpets.

When it comes to cutting glory holes in the library stall some here say to go with the Rigid power tools. Don't know why
What size drill bit would you recommend for this? Asking for a friend

I need to get off my arse and register it though so I can get the lifetime battery warranty though. Hope it's not too late.

This is probably an unpopular opinion, but I have both and I prefer the tools that run on electricity over those that run on batteries. Just get a few long extension cords but the batteries always seem to die before the job is done.

Mommy jokes really set me off in a rage. I will knock anybody's teeth so far down their gullet they will have to clear their throat to fart.....at any Sonic in America. Last time I had to set some mother fricker straight at Sonic my swing force ripped a hole in the arse end of my sweat pants. shite pisses me off!
