Everything LSU has done recently is atrocious. The south endzone expansion and the Nicholson side of tiger stadium being the worst. Tiger Stadium is beautiful from the north endzone but the other portions are hideous

Looks fine and functional to me.

That is not the indoor facility at Georgia.
From the UGA website on their Lindsey Hopkins Indoor Tennis Courts:
Another picture showing a different angle of the building pictured above:
Both of those are of the same building I previously referenced. Pretty weird that its part of the Dan Magill Tennis Complex, isn't it?
Also, UGA only has four indoor courts. LSU appears to have upgraded past that although the Dogs do have some limited indoor seating.

A few thoughts:
1) There absolutely should be a canopy to keep the sun off of spectators, just like the old courts. However, most home tennis matches are played in Feb, March, and April, so it's not particularly hot.
2) The indoor facility is fine the way it is. I've watched tennis matches at the indoor courts at UGA, and that facility has the same industrial-type feel to it.

Do you not understand that large buildings like this are compartmentalized? Looks to me like UGA did their best to only show the front of the building and conceal the rest of it. LSU could have done the same thing. Pretty weird how that stucco part is on the same building, isn't it?

are you crazy. the facility looks great and it cost about 15 million fricking dollars. that's plenty. maybe instead of being a bitch that complains all the time why don't you lead a movement to build a canopy on the outside.

Beats me. Go pull for them and find out.

Let's not be children. It was just a question.

Ah, okay. So you don't know what you're talking about, and just posted your thoughts based on assumptions. You can Google a map of the Dan Magill Tennis Complex, I'm not going to do it for you, and you will see that Georgia went to the trouble of building a brick facade. And, yes, it is the front of a very large building that houses four indoor tennis courts.
You have no idea what you are talking about, but thanks for playing.

quote:No, I do. That is the front of their building, as I suggested and as Google street view reveals. The sides of the competition area have periodic brick columns, but the entire building doesn't look like that. However, they do not have elevated indoor seating like LSU does, so the overall building is much smaller than ours.
So you don't know what you're talking about,
quote:You've clearly invested entirely too much emotion in this, but I'll wait for your explanation as to how that roof in the pic you posted in any way translates to the large a-frame roof shown from inside the competition area.
You have no idea what you are talking about, but thanks for playing.

The new facilities certainly didn't hurt recruiting efforts. LSU just hauled in the #1 women's class in the country.

How the hell am I supposed to know? You provided the pic; you tell us.

Are there any rules against incorporating purple and gold in the courts?
