It's been an interesting few months for Les. But it says a lot about the guy that he was able to land this monster of a class.
But because of this epic class, expectations are immediately a notch higher... Whether that's realistic or not.
That being said, what will it take for Les to keep rolling after next season? My thoughts are that if any 2 of the following 3 things happen, he's good.
1)Win 10 games
2) Win the West
3) Beat Bama
(I'd add a 4th item in "making playoffs", but if we do that the odds are that we've done AT LEAST 2 of those 3)
Thoughts?

Also, this is my first post... So don't be bastards.

I'm not much on "do this", "do that", "don't do that". Each season plays itself out in a variety of ways. Injuries, schedules, bad breaks, good breaks, etc. all shape a season. I could be a horrible 2 loss season or a really good 3 loss season. It's really about how, overall, Les manages the season.

Off-topic: I'm curious why first posts are typically starting a new thread instead of contributing to existing threads.

At this point, I believe as long as Les keeps eating grass and giving mostly incoherent speeches after games, he is set.

Great class, but LSU is returning 18/22 IIRC, which is major in CFB.
Most expectations lie here.

It is customary for new posters to go to the O-T lounge to introduce themselves.

5} I just want to beat the HOGS. Tired of my hog friend rubbing it in

With that said we should do good next year and for sure year after next.

Very possible with a few breaks we make the playoff the next two years depending on of course BAMA

Not finishing 3rd, 4th or 5th in the SEC west like we have done in the last 3 years! There is no sugar coating finishing in the middle of the pack in the west with 10 win.

I think he has to win the whole frickin thing... if he doesnt he should be fired... period... end of story...No one has what we have next year and its not even close... It would be an epic failure for him not to win the national title. He fails to do that, may god have mercy on his soul..

3 and that is all. That's what all of the hoopla that happened in November stems from. Saban is the measuring stick for all the major programs in the country and when you're their division rival and get just as good talent, you shouldn't be losing 5 straight to them. But honestly if that happens, I'm sure the rest will happen.

One of the 3 MUST happen, although politics may save Miles' job again.

1. Win West
2. Beat Bama
3. Win 10 games

most of this years class will not contribute much to the '16 team, at least until late in the year.

LSU needs to PROVE it can win games via the air. we need to BURN those teams playing 8 or 9 guys in the box or, in the case of bama, simply overwhelming our blocking game with superior talent (or coaching).

until that happens, we are not going to beat bama. and we must beat bama to win the west. those bastards are just too good to lose 2 games.

With what LSU has coming back this shouldn't be the expectation. I know the pumpers believe 10 games is like winning the national championship but the expectations for next years team should be to at least win the SEC.

The future of Les and LSU are bright.
Alabama will be Alabama as long as Saban is there.
Deal with it.
