I'm not. I would love for a relentless recruiter like Raymond to go head to head with a guy that falsifies expense reports for recruiting trips he never took.
There is a reason he just keeps going to lower and lower rungs on the CFB ladder.

maybe Mudd will enlighten us, provided KF signs with LSU

f they were smart they'd hire ron cooper, who i think is still just sitting there at USF. that would terrify me.

cooper was a solid coach, but there's a reason he keeps getting canned.
The myth of the honey badger being a nobody is growing way too far. The guy made a name for himself going around to camps and shutting down WRs. If you didn't know who he was going into his senior year you weren't paying attention.
Mo Claiborne was also a guy many had pegged as severely underrated, he was far from a scrub cooper worked magic on.
Just stop

And he wouldn't have been a Cooper find either. He would have been an Ensminger find.

Jimmy isn't exaggerating...Florida is pulling out all the stops into the night with their lies...I pray Kristian knows his parents are the ones who have his best interests at heart..

time has shown us that secondary was just insanely talented, Cooper wasn't as instrumental as we once believed.

Wasn't Mudbone on here just the other day saying McElwain and Skipper were class acts? I doubt this is true.
I could see maybe Arkansas saying it which would explain some of his thoughts towards them but he's said nothing but positives regarding Florida's staff.

He plans to talk about the shenanigans that have gone on during his son's recruitment after tomorrow. Guess we'll find out then.

Kind of like the incumbent has the advantage. Plus the Fulton's are pretty plugged in to LSU. It's not like they're operating in the dark. Makes it much easier for LSU to counter.
ETA: the UF guy above may be on to something, it is entirely possible that AR was doing the negative recruiting and telling him things along the line of since Raymond is leaving LSU you should give more weight to our staff stability.

stressful times to say the least...

The operative word might be "act". There's plenty of men who seem to be fine, upstanding role models, but they're really pricks behind that thin veneer. Not saying McElwain, etc. are really pricks, but your doubt... based on a gracious comment by Muddbone... and some other anecdotal evidence (I'm guessing) means nothing. McElwain may be genuinely classy or he might be a slick used car salesman.
And it's not a stretch at all to think McElwain and crew are selling the idea that they just got there, made a little progress already, and are going to build on that... while helping Fulton go over his options and point out that as excellent as Coach Raymond has been, he's not likely to be there much longer. That's not the worst example of dirty recruiting I've heard, but I don't have a hard time believing that's true.
The good news is, Coach Raymond has supposedly been approached with other offers and already turned them down. And thankfully, as someone else pointed out, Raymond got a raise and extension.

How will LSU ever counter Florida saying they are hiring Raymond?
Is there anyone on LSUs staff recruiting Fulton that knows that knows what Raymond is thinking???
/Sarcasm... Raymond himself is on our staff.
Wouldn't be smart for Raymond to recruit Fulton to LSU and end up coaching at UF.
Wouldn't be smart to be on LSUs staff and be secretly pushing an LSU prospect to UF as close as frank Wilson is with fulton and his dad. LSU would probably be well aware
Just doesn't make much sense any way you slice it
UF posters on the secrant were saying Raymond to UF, but IMO UF simply saying Raymond is leaving LSU is the only logical possibility

because they're desperate and at this point in the process when you're behind on a big time prospect, you throw stuff at the wall to see if anything sticks.
Posted on 2/2/16 at 7:55 pm to CJM
Could definitely be trolling I'm not sure. I just remember a thread where I saw posters saying this
It caught me by surprise and as I had no idea if it was true it worried me at first

Because that's their last ditch effort to try and sway him away from DBU, maybe?? Gonna be a great start to the 2016 season tomorrow!
Posted on 2/2/16 at 7:58 pm to DC51Tiger
Not really a tactic, either he is or he isn't. All he needs to do is ask Raymond himself. There isn't any smoke and mirrors with this one. If Florida thinks this will work then they have hit an all time low....same level aTm.

Its about timing...Florida coaches contact a recruit in the last days planting bogus information and LSU coaches don't know about it...how can they clarity any lies??

Tigerdroppings will find out for them
But in all seriousness that's a dirty tactic for sure. I can't see is working on Fulton though as plugged in a muddbone is on these boards much less with Raymond himself
