I recently "re-acquired" some land in the basin (around 2000 acres). It had been leased by my family for many years, but the leasee decided not to renew the lease this year. It appears to have plenty of hardwoods and a couple of "bayou's" according to google maps. Anyways, just wondering if there are decent deer numbers in the basin or if it is commonplace to hunt deer in the basin and not just duck. Thanks in advance.

North side or south side? Water access only?

Probably due to the high water. If you don't lease it or use it someone else will...

Will you be leasing out spots to hunt?

Make sure you gate off all those bayous. Gotta keep the fish out.
