Most of the talk I saw on here was Sweet 16 or bust for JJ...which was/is still fair.

Having said that... no, no one said this years team is a title contender, but yes, they have underperformed. I recall being ranked in the preseason

That's exactly what many of the hoops guys said pre-season. Though you can't find many who are standing by that now. I totally agree that should be the expectation for this team. We're definitely trending up but just getting in is still in doubt so we're a ways from feeling like Sweet 16 is the goal.

We have the pieces to be a really good team we just don't play good basketball when it counts. The fundamentals are what separate this team and other good teams.
