In all seriousness though, I can't imagine the outside pressure your family went through or what current top recruits go through. It's easy to cast judgement from across the fence, but it's tough when your in the middle trying to walk through the mess. I'm sure you are excited that the end of recruiting is almost here.

You don't need to take stuff on here serious. They have some real idiots on here. Also, you don't need to talk to people any kind of way. Regardless of who your son is. No need for that stuff.
That being said, I really hope your son is a tiger. I'm on record saying I think after this class has graduated and/or gone pro, K Fulton will be seen as a top 3 CB in the draft.
But, I really think if you're a family member, a board like this isn't where you should be, especially this close to signing day. Stupid things will be said by stupid people and it's only natural to take them personal because after all, it's your son.
Anyways, to me it sounds like they may have been talking bad about Louisiana. What they don't understand is while our state may be one of the worst, Us Louisianians(sp?) love it for the most part in a twisted way. I know for one, I'm damn proud to be from the boot. Thank you for posting on this board and for your love of our state. I have never been in your position, but I know there is tremendous pressure on the prospect and the parents.
Everything I read tells me this young man and his family are good people. All this pulling and tugging will be worth it to your son. There are many good things in his future.

LSU seperates itself from every other school in the fact that we as fans love our players that stay in State to play for LSU. We are already a prideful State and then you add football to the equation. If your son chooses elsewhere, most will quietly pull for him unless it directly effects LSU and their success.
At LSU, he will have every opportunity and more to achieve his dream while doing it in front of everyone he knows. Its been great reading about the recruiting ride so thanks for that.
Heres to hoping next Fall you can take those culinary skills from the kitchen to Death Valley.
