If we get a decent effort from Gray we win the game - he was awful! Simmons needs the ball in his hands at the end of ALL close games - it's that simple. He can drive and finish or pass with the best in college basketball. Tigers played well. OU played better - especially late from 3 point land. There is a reason they are #1 in the country and we are not even ranked. Great effort!

What don't you people understand?? Simmons has zero interest on touching the ball at the end of the game.

So our 5th guard who played like 8 minutes needs to play better to win? How about JP not going 1/5 or Hornsby 1/6 from 3

I was fine with Quartermann having the ball at the end. He was 5/5 on the day from 3. I think the only mistake he made was not dishing it out to someone after 4 OU guys concerned on him. But I guess he's hoping for the foul.

No. He needs to sit his arse on the bench. He's good for a turnover and a dumbass shot at least every 3rd possession. The human turnover

Yes, but only if a big guy follows him out to the perimeter. If they do, Ben can blow by him.

But they've now figured out Ben can't shoot so they're now sagging way off and not even guarding him outside the paint. They severely reduces his ability to penetrate. Since he can't/won't shoot a mid-range jumper, all that's left is the low post game, and Ben is good, but not great, there.
