I completely agree. The injuries just took too much of a toll on the Patriots this year, and asking that squad that finished the year to win in Denver was too much.

That Denver defense straight up embarrassed anyone the Patriots put there at RT, and Vollmer is not as talented on the left side was beat like a drum too. That defense had an amazing game, and is among the most talented in the league. It was a legit loss, the Pats were outplayed, out-talented, out-coached, and out-prepared.

I think getting embarrassed on national television really lit a fire under the players, and next year should be exciting to watch.

The Pats "biggest" free agent player is Akiem Hicks. Pretty good setup next season if they can stay healthy and add some players on the oline. Look for Malcolm butler to get locked up long term as well

Gostkowski is out with sprained feelings. His rehab includes staying off social media.

Solidarity. They are all missing for the same reason.

Not like anyone really cares about the probowl anyway, and it's a meaningless game and check. I watch the NFL every week but haven't watched that game in years. Holds no interest to me.

Is there anything more pathetic than a Bama fan who also pulls for the Patriots?

I don't understand it either. The two teams literally have nothing in common besides winning a lot and Saban and Belichick being on the same coaching staff eons ago. Saban and Belichick's offensive philosophy couldn't be any more different. Can you imagine a Saban-coached team winning their biggest game of the year with almost as many pass attempts (50) as rushing yards (57) like the Patriots did against the Seahawks last year? In three of their last five playoff games, the Patriots had more than 3x as many pass attempts as they did rushing attempts. Plus Belichick is a scumbag who has been involved with all kinds of shady shenanigans and loves to run up the score. When's the last time an opposing team said anything negative about the conduct of Saban and the Bama FB team after a game? Even their biggest rivals never say anything negative about Bama unlike the way opposing teams continuously complain about the Patriots.

This is just Pats B.S.

All would have been healthy for the Super Bowl...but suddenly they're all unhealthy for the Pro Bowl.

They have been doing it for years. Organizational frick you NFL...we do what we want and don't give back to the fans.

They cheat, lie and steal but can't give back to the fans?

I don't know why Robert Kraft owns Goodell. When did Kraft become the tsar of the NFL?

HAHAHAHAHA

There's a lot of fricking butthurt in this statement

Pats fans can make all the excuses in the world about the backups on the O-line and having nearly our whole offense hurt...

But every single one of us still thought we would kick that teams arse based solely on the fact they have a geriatric at QB

There is no excuse this team should have lost. I'm just excited to see Goodell get his arse handed to him again in the offseason (if he chooses to appeal the Deflategate decision (God I hope he does)) and to see this team when we're fully healthy

So taking your foot off the gas is now admireable? You realize that Pats have almost blown multiple huge leads during the Belichick reign, and he continues to put up points because he knows he's playing against professionals on the other side of the field.

This is the NFL, no lead is safe, just look at what the Seahawks almost did 10 days ago.

Crazy how they were all healthy for the AFC championship

Sorry about your Patriots. At least you still have Alabama football

The Patriots can do whatever the frick they want. They don't have to answer to anyone especially for something as meaningless as the Irvin-Rice drafted Pro-Bowl

If you don't want them to treat it like a joke, then don't make the Pro Bowl some circus sideshow

If that were actually the case they would just say "we're all healthy but frick you NFL we're not going to your stupid pro bowl." This is the passive aggressive alternative
