That's what I call a final round. Anybody else watching.

Amazing finish.. I give Garcia the win. Even though he was retreating the whole fight, he landed the more effective punches.

Yea, I got Garcia with the win.

Great last round. Garcia is skilled but Guerrero is tough as frick.

Damn. I went to the store after the 9th thinking it was over. Did he at least bust him up? One day those screwjob decisions will come back to Garcia.

8-4 on all three judges scorecards.
I would love to see Garcia vs. One Time. Thurman sounded like he was down with that fight.

Garcia won but was not super impressive against a tough guy. Lots of tough fights ahead in that division.

Garcia is a fraud. He waited until Guerrero (a former featherweight) was a faded fighter before he actually grew a pair and stepped in the ring with him.....and he still managed to get his face busted up. Prior to this fight, he fought Paulie Malignaggi, who's been shot for two years.
He will keep hiding behind Al Haymon when it comes to his fighting career.

I haven't read up on anything just going off what Thurman said at the fight, but do you think they'll make Thurman v Garcia? Sounds like you don't think so.

Garcia vs. the Thurman/Porter winner makes all kinds of sense but you have to remember we're talking about Al Haymon fighters. I'd elaborate more but I get tired of talking about a man who likes men who wear dresses and makeup and refuses to make quality fights when fans want them most.

You're haymon position has been pretty clearly stated on here
I was hoping his network deal under which they are fighting would open up some better matchups. But it looks like the same shite just as far as making big fights. That said, at least we get more free fights.

Garcia fought and beat a prime lucas matthysse and khan. Beat a underrated Herrera. What a fraud.

I should stop right here because that statement tells me all I need to know. Did you even watch that fight? Garcia got his arse handled for 12 rounds. His nose basically exploded at one point. That was a 9-3 Herrera fight but of course Haymon had those judges fill out their scorecards earlier that morning.

You make it sound like these are world class fighters.
First of all, that was 2.5 and 3.5 years ago. How long are the fanboys going to keep hanging on these two fights? The dude fought a guy Rod Salka who was TWO weight classes smaller than him and UNRANKED his his division. Then he fights washed up Paulie Malignaggi. Then he finally fights Lamont Peterson, loses, but once again Haymon had the judges fill out their scorecards early. Then he fights shop worn Robert Guerrero and gets busted up. Come on man quit hiding under Haymon's dress.
Second, Khan had already been KO'd cold by freaking Breidis Prescott and was coming off a loss to Lamont Peterson. He had already busted up Garcia's face in 2 rounds and then the Garcia left hook shattered his already proven glass jaw. What a remarkable victory.
Third, Matthysse has zero technique and the most looping shots in the sport. Garcia fought farely well but even when Matthysse's eye was shut Garcia still ran from him like he was the predator. Also, do you remember how long it took Garcia to take that fight? When Matthysse KO'd Peterson cold, they showed Garcia in the crowd and he looked like he was about to shite his pants.

He'll put good fights together here and there but it's mostly crap. And he likes to make fights when no one cares anymore (Santa Cruz-Mares, Garcia-Peterson, etc). Even when he made Broner-Porter, he managed to screw it up by making Porter drain down to 143 (in order to help Broner) and then Porter still whipped him. But still, that fight should have been at 147.
But why did Garcia-Peterson take so long? Garcia-Guerrero? Thurman-Porter? Santa Cruz-Mares? There's no excuse other than he protects certain fighters. He threw Porter in with Brook but let Thurman fight old Julio Diaz. Come on Haymon!!!!
