I've tried 70mg vyvanse a number of times.
It's awesome. I can eat, have normal conversations, and concentrate really well.
If I was gonna get prescribed anything, that'd be it.

Agreed.
Gotta try a bunch to see what's gonna work best for you.

Your dose of Vyvanse is too low, I suspect. I was taking 60-70mg of Vyvanse, and now I take 20-40 mg of Adderall. 30mg of Vyvanse is comparable to, like, 10-15mg of addy, if I'm remembering correctly. A starter dose. That's probably why you were so foggy.

I had the same symptoms many years ago but with Concerta. The only thing that I can take is Adderall XR 20mg. Because I get up so early I now take the XR at 430am and an adderall 10mg around 1pm.
Id recommend talking to your dr right away about how you are feeling.i surely wouldnt keep taking it though.

What's your weight?
I have the same side effects with adderral you have.
I also like V for the reasons you mentioned. I would pony up or do whatever if they will cover it, and you're being lazy.

I have been on Vyvanse for several years. The foggy feeling you are describing is how I feel on the weekends when I don't take it, so I would guess that the dose is too low. I notice a difference in less than 30 minutes after taking it, but I am on 60 mg. The worst thing to me is because I don't usually take it on Saturday & Sunday, Tuesday night I do not sleep. At all.
I started at 30 mg & went to 70 before settling at 60 about 3 years ago.
Give it a few weeks, if after a month you don't feel a difference call your Dr.

No way am I posting my weight on here. Haha. I'm an Amazon. So comparable to a guy, I guess.
And you're right! I need to stay on my doc to get the pre-auth pushed through. Adderall KILLS my sleep, no matter how early I take it. I have to drug myself with so much melatonin or Xanax to sleep, no matter how tired I am. Vyvanse is magic, by comparison.

Yes it is. Took it in college. Couldn't sleep and when I could I had ridiculous dreams. Got off it and went to addy instants and couldn't have been happier.
FWIW I don't think I'm really ADD. Got a prescription in college and I take it like once a month these days if that.

Poison how? We live in Louisiana. The air is poison. At least Vyvanse makes me sparkly & functional.

It's nice on the weekends sometimes because I'll get projects done around the house.

I guess everyone's body reacts differently. I felt like a cracked out crazy monster on vyvanse

As a kid my teachers had some concerns, and my parents had me evaluated. They were told that I was borderline, but chose not to medicate me. They also didn't try any intervention strategies, so my academics were all over the place.
In college I struggled initially, and got on Concerta. While it worked during the day, I would come down hard in the evenings. Eventually the heart papiltations were too much, and I quit taking it without consulting a physician.
In grad school I had ups and downs again, and began noticing a great deal of anxiety. With my first job I realized how bad things really were. After a long talk with my boss, I went back to the doctor.
After evaluation they talked to me about how my ADD symptoms were creating my anxiety. I was trying to focus but couldn't, and that lead to my stress/anxiety.
I now take Strattera for my symptoms. It isn't a cure all, but it helps a lot without nasty side effects.

Totally get it. That's how I feel on Adderall. My dentist made me get a bite guard, because I've been grinding my teeth with Adderall. I feel all tweaked out.
