Ajinca and Cole are now eligible to be traded.

Although I assume we're stuck with Cole until the deadline. He seems like a last minute facilitator contract like how we got him with Salmons. So do the Pels make a trade this week? I read in one of the threads that Wesley seemed to be expecting something soon, although their injury reports have been pretty unreliable so why would they have good trade info?

At this point, I'm not sure anyone has a clue what's going to happen. Although they're still talking like they want to make a playoff push this year. Incredibly, it's possible they could do so if the team shows some consistency.

The more minutes and shots for Cole, the more ping pong balls for Simmons. I'm all for playing him 48 minutes a game from here on out. Trot out a Cole, EG, Gee, Dante, Asik lineup as much as possible. That lineup would struggle to average 65 points a game.

Put a "?" in thread title. Got my hopes up

But the fact that they are now eligible isn't in question.

I think AA is a good candidate to be traded. Cole just seems to be stuck here for now, and there's not much else besides him off the bench if we trade EG too.

Yeah that's a laughably bad trade for Houston although Houston does need to do something to get to the next level.

Yea it's something I like to call playoff effort. Starting to see shades of it by mid April they'll be tuned up and ready for a run.

Lol or they'll continue to crash and burn

Good luck with that did you just start watching NBA this year? No recollection of the playoff version of CC we saw last year v LAC?

Aren't you one to constantly talk about how that was last year and this year is a different year?
Fact:
Houston Rockets are 22-20 (probably 23-20 tonight)
13-9 against non playoff teams
Their current record vs top 8 teams: 9-11 (probably 10-11 tonight)
Wins: OKC, LAC x2, Dallas, SAS, Utah x2, Indy, Memphis
Losses: GS x2, Miami, Dallas, Boston, Memphis x2, Detroit, ATL, SAS, Cleveland
Don't get me wrong, they're vastly under performing right now and I honestly don't believe they're as bad as their record indicates.
After tonight, they play 12 more games before the ASB, 6 (or 8 if you include Portland since they're half a game behind utah) will be coming from top 8 in the west/east.
After the ASB, you play in 27 more games, 17 against top 8 teams.
They better be picking up this pace or caring or whatever you say because that isn't an easy stretch.

Schedule ain't all that important only a few teams in the league can beat HOU at their best.
