Who, if anyone, do you consider a legitimate musical genius in the last 50 years

Was watching the Library on Congress award show honoring Wille Nelson, and I think I'd put him up there. And maybe John Fogerty, Brian Wilson, Kris Kirstofferson.
Who ya got?

Frank Zappa. Miles Davis. Stravinsky barely makes the cut, but most of his most acclaimed writing is much older than that, he may not really count. There are others I don't even know about, I'm sure. Sometimes I think Bela Fleck sort of belongs. I'm not sure though. I'll stick with Davis and Zappa as being two who I feel strongly about, although I have heard some say that Zappa borrows heavily from Varese and Stravinsky. But whatever. They didn't utilize music the same way as him.
While I'm thinking about that Varese falls into the same category as Stravinsky. I'll also throw John Cage out there. He certainly thought outside of the box.
Genius is a word that gets throw around too easily. There are lots of supremely talented people who shouldn't be considered geniuses. Kanye West is not a genius.

Everyone is putting a lot of old timers up, and I agree with most of them, but for newer artists:
Trent Reznor
Father John Misty (Joshua Tillman)
The Tallest Man on Earth (Kristian Matsson)
Conor Oberst
Maynard James Keenan
Les Claypool
Iron & Wine (Sam Beam)
Robin Pecknold (Fleet Foxes)
Damon Albarn (Gorillaz, Blur)
Jim James (My Morning Jacket)
Jeff Mangum (Neutral Milk Hotel)
Jack White
Dax Riggs (my biased pick but I think he's genius)
