He's got that joking sense of humor and swagger to him that's just infectious to the rest of the team. I can't to see him on the field with Jamal.

Just because they have similar personalities, it doesn't mean they will play similarly.

Definitely see the comparison from a fun and leadership perspective, as well as confidence in ability.

Yeah, I think Jamal is going to push Savion to get on the field a lot as a freshman. should be fun.

Easy there Duckie.
He's posting positive fun stuff here.
Use that attitude for the nega's that pop up every 5 minutes.
And I agree with him.
Leadership and motivation can never be undersold on a team making a run at a championship.

I'm so pumped about this kid. He's so all-in for LSU and an amazing player.

Reminds me off a Jamal Adams Attitude, Ed Paris Loves for LSU and Tyrann Mathieu talent.
Kids gonna be a good one.

Depth Chart starting now and Possible Depth Chart as the year progresses:
Cornerback -
1) White/Donte Jackson - CB -> I thought Donte Jackson played better than White this season, but white was injured, so we'll see who plays better to start this season.
2) KT II/X. Lewis - CB -> X. Lewis may not start, but I see him in the rotation for sure. Very good DB.
Current Depth Chart:
1) White
1) KT II
2) D. Jackson -> I think Donte Jackson is good enough to start in one of the two CB spots.
3) X. Lewis
3) R. Gage
4) S. Smith
5) Greedy W.
We will know the depth chart for sure once Spring and Fall Practice are complete
Safety -
1) Jamal Adams/Corey Thompson - SS
2) Ed Paris/Ricky Jefferson - FS -> John Battle will definitely compete for either a starting position or playing time at FS.
Current Depth Chart:
1) Jamal Adams
2) Ed Paris
3) Corey Thompson
4) Ricky J.
5) John Battle
5) Eric Monroe -> Definitely will compete for starting position or at least playing time.
We will know the depth chart for sure once Spring practice is complete.

33 is one of my favorite Tigers

I think Battle and Monroe will end up being #2 and #3 on the depth chart.

Savion will be more of hybrid slot corner/safety-similar to TM7

Is Xavier Lewis still aiming for corner or is he projected to contribute at safety? I thought he was an intriguing safety prospect coming out of highschool.

Every time he was in the game he made a play or did nothing to hurt the team

Both are good players. Rickey was on the field much more and thus got exposed during a couple of games. I think he's a full time starter next year though.
