Looking for a place to eat in BR

Haven't been out to eat in BR in years and will be meeting friends from out of town in BR, Saturday night. Looking for casual place with drinks and food, not fried or seafood, and not Italian, as a main style. Recommendations please...

Beausoleil just unveiled their new winter menu about a month or so ago, and I've been very impressed with the items I've tried: lamb meatballs, gnocchi, sweetbreads, duck breast, General Tso's pork cheeks, quail & boudin waffle, broiled whole shrimp with risotto... all very good. Not to mention they make a mean version of a Moscow Mule.
