Man with Coughlin leaving, I think the Giants are serious contenders.

As #Saints coach Sean Payton mulls his future, let me state the obvious: Yes, he's monitoring the situation with the #Giants. Very closely.

At this point it should be obvious he is just throwing shite against the wall. I'm not saying Payton is staying, but I am 100% certain Rapoport doesn't have a clue. It's ashame more people aren't calling him out on linking Payton with literally every job opening.

I can't really believe this FO is only willing to take a 2nd rounder for him. I mean that would be insane.

wouldn't go that far, i think a likely bet is a 2 and toss in a 3 to seal it. high 2 pick is pretty legit these days for an overpaid disgruntled coach.

Well Ian Rapoport blocked me on Twitter after I said "You really have no clue, huh?"

Who's also still won a Super Bowl and coaching at a very high level. You have to get at least a 1st out of it.

fairly debatable. consecutive 7-9 seasons, defense still a wreck, many weeks the team look completely disinterested.

This is ridiculously low. We should get at least what the Raiders got for Gruden since he had not even won a Super Bowl at that time. I would make him stay and fulfill his contract.

We just signed 3 players to future contracts. Seems if we were in there talking about something as important as Sean leaving they wouldn't be signing future contracts.

While that's true, he's still clearly highly coveted as teams know what he can do.

i'm highly interested to see payton on a drew'less team with maybe an average or rookie developmental project. Lets settle this whole drew or payton thing and separate them now.

We know Drew can still ball, which is honestly a reason I'm not 100% completely opposed to seeing what we can get for Payton. Bring in a defensive mind and let Carmichael and Brees come up with the offensive gameplans.
