I have a ton of respect for teachers and often pray for them since they are the ones guiding our children and subsequently our future as a nation.

As a teacher, I would gladly work year round if you pay me my normal hourly rate for the extra 10 weeks I would work a year. If you did that you would truly end the low teacher salary argument.

A recent decision in the UK means all children in Britain will be tested on their timestable up to 12x12 before they leave primary school (aged 11)

Primary school teachers on my Facebook are up in arms

Pretty sure it's just because half of them will have to relearn it themselves
