It's the same as if it did. It is equivalent for better or worse.

Enjoy the game brother. Just glad I don't have to watch it with you
I will cheer for this team, but don't act like there is nothing wrong with our coaching.

No you can't. They will just say a win over a 7-5 Texas Tech team proves nothing. The sad thing is that they will mostly be right. Texas Tech sports one of the worst rush defenses in the country. This isn't a game LSU should lose.
The only thing that will shut up the Nega Tigers is ending a regular season with at least 11 wins (including wins over Alabama and Arkansas), winning the SEC Championship, and then winning the National Championship. Anything less than that is seen as a failure to them.

Couple that with almost everyone coming back
Have the Juniors declared yet? We tend to lose some at the last minute.

You forgot after all that firing the coach. Then this board will rejoice

Cool. I'm going to pretend that we beat Arkansas, so we're 11-2. I mean, they did suck and we should have beat them. I also always hated our 2013 loss to Ole Miss, considering that they were playing with their cheerleaders because of injuries. I'm going to pretend like that didn't happen either. Let's not even get started on some of our recent bowl losses.

of course it'll take til November for the bottom to fall out and him wondering what went wrong.
All the sunshine pumpers will rest on the wins against inferior talent and just assume we weren't the better team.

This game is nothing but an opportunity for our secondary and pass rush to prove themselves. I look at it as nothing more (unless we fail to rush for more than 150 or something....)

Nice straw man.

Are you someone's wife? You sure can bitch like one

If we do lose, I'm bumping the frick out of this thread tonight.

We should never be losing to Arkansas. This school should always be playing for at least a shot at the Sugar Bowl.

9-3 this season is the same as 10-3 in another season. We didn't scratch an opponent of significance. We scratched McNeese.
The real argument when comparing seasons is SEC records and relevant non-conference games (and any championships won).
A legitimate point is when people bring up 10-win seasons. The 10-win seasons of today are not the same as 10-win seasons prior to 12-game regular seasons and conference championship games.

Go back and read the OP. Never called wins in EITHER BAMES bowl or hoops. Just said we would be headed in the right direction if we GEAUX 2-0 tonight. I swear your someone's wife. You bitch way too much and never comprehend what was actually said

This will be like playing Ole Miss again, except we may score a little

By beating a team with the second to last ranked defense in a meaningless bowl? Moron.

Agreed. Only it was a false accusation in this case. I never want failure, nor did I say or imply that I did. Maybe he responded to the wrong post (?)
I mostly just ignore the stupidity on both extremes of the spectrum here.

Unless both are blowout wins, you're not shutting up anyone.
