Has anyone tried "flea pills" for their dogs?

I can't win the flea battle so my vet will sell me Comfortis. It's a pill form medicine that is supposed to kill fleas for up to a month.
Does anyone have reviews or experiences they can share? Does it really work?

We've been using Trifexis. It works.

Sounds like you know what you're doing.
Just roll with it.

Use nexgard (pills) or seresto (7-8 month collar).

We use them for our two dogs. Never had any flea problems.

It was the only thing that would kill fleas on my dog and cat.
My dog took the first pill willingly. After that, he would shake his head no when I went to give him the pill.

Most products do not stop a flea from getting on dog, the take care of flea after it bites dog. You need to treat your lawn.

We've tried all the topical stuff and collars. Even treated the yard. But they play in bushes and leaves and it only takes one flea to start an infestation you know?

I treated the lawn but the two yards on either side of my fence have dogs and I don't think they're treated.

Funny you ask. Comfortis works the best in my opinion but there are some concerns of side effects. I just found a place online that sells all flea pills for about half what they usually cost.see link below

It's not like it some kind of new development that needs quotes. It's the best way to fight them, and you can get the kind that fights heartworms along with it. No other way to go

I treat my lawn but when we go to my parents house they live out in the sticks and my dogs get covered with fleas if I don't give them a pill

Trifexis works. It gets rid of fleas within a couple days. It also protects them from heart worms. I highly recommend it, I usually give it to them every 2-3 months so it will last around a year for $98. Can't beat that

I would think most dog owners use this now (particularly the flea + heart worm in one pill). They definitely work.

FYI pill treatments like Trifexis, Comfortis and Assurity have been known to kill dogs and cats.
