Never personally understood the fascination with fried chicken. But I do wonder if the cain's and zaxby's phenomenon in in any way stems from a racial narrative? Meaning Whites began avoiding the stereotypically Black food chains (churchs,kfc,etc), and when chicken fingers came out, it gave them an outlet into being able to eat fried chicken without the feeling of going to the other-side of the tracks. Who knows, I dont mean any offense, but this "OMG, it's so goooood". Uh um, it's just fried chicken right? What makes tenders so much different?

The best fried chicken is normally in sketchy places which makes it even better.
