Have Cox. Not happy thinking about going with Direct tv. Pros and cons?

Had both and prefer Cox. DirectTV seems like a good deal until your bill doubles after 2 years. I always had issues with my DirectTV receiver in my master bedroom and they never figured it out.

Pro- better picture, better sound, better technology, better support, cheaper.
Con- goes out for a moment or two in extreme weather.

We have had Cox cable and internet for 20+ years and have had no problems that could not be resolved with a new cable box or modem. Satellite TV on the other hand seems to have ongoing inherent issues.

Had directv and now cox...don't ever choose cox over directv
