LSUs offense would have been ranked in the top 15 that season.
could have been so much more with even a little bit of effort put into it by the coaching staff. Was a wasted season in that all the cards were lined up for a much bigger season.

You're like the third or fourth person with that sentiment, so I'll address it.
I think there is a misconception on this board as to the definition of maybe.

Oh. Well maybe this crop of recievers is better than OBJ and Jarvis then.

this is the second season they have had a serious case of the dropsies.

That offense was great until Georgia, I felt like we reigned it in after that shootout.
Thought in that game that Miles abandoned the run too early, same in the Ole Miss game. Hill was having his way in the 1st and early in the 2nd in both of those games

We've had that problem with receivers in the past. Lafell and Bowe (before he got his eyes fixed) dropped a lot of balls.

I mean, that'd give him over 15,000 yards receiving and 80 TDs. And he's unreal at everything else the stats don't tell like blocking, route running, leadership, etc.
But again, this would be very tough because injuries and shite, but he is on his way to have a great and long NFL career.
ETA:
Which would put him top 10 in yards and top 20 in TDs FYI.

Landry has about a 0% chance of being a HOF receiver
Yeah maybe so by while at LSU he was the better receiver then OBJ. It's not that way anymore, but if you wanted a completion throw it to number 80.

James wright had 21 receptions at LSU. He won't even sniff that number in the NFL.
Meant on that 2013 O. Had zero

quote:yep. That's why I'm coming to hate "styles" (Chip Kelly) and "philosophies" (Miles), just identify and attack weakness. If they only have 2 good DB's run spread. No DB depth (and you have plenty of WRs) run spread with HUNH. LB's slow? Play fakes with intermediate passes to middle of field.
did you watch the saints game yesterday? Did you notice how they called and designed plays to get their stud #1 wr matched against our rookie linebacker over and over?
We never do that. For us, if the qb can't make a 40 yard handoff and the wr can't beat a double team, we're doomed.
"Playing your game" ONLY works when the matchup is favorable. Create mismatches and make that your game.
