I bought an Instant Pot on Amazon and it came in on Friday. Haven't used it, yet, but the friend who recommended the pot also recommended this:

My wife does red beans in thirty minutes and they are as good as my three hour beans. She does a nice chuck roast too.
That's all I got.

Just decide what it is you want to cook and then google for recipes. That has worked for me and should work out for you as well.
Cooked some red beans today in about 40 minutes that turned out great.
It is particularly good in making stocks for soups and beans and cooking tougher meats like short ribs and roasts.
Just experiment a bit and you will quickly get the hang of it.
Do you have an electric or stove top pressure cooker.

Darla, I checked out that site you linked. Is it me, or does it make you think you are seeing floaters.

I've looked at it from two devices and haven't seen anything. The site is a little busy, but
Oh. Once you click on a link, there are little falling things. How obnoxious. I'll have to see if there's a way to turn that off.

Serious Eats has a fair collection of them. Just hit the search box with "pressure cooker".
Here is a collection of 15 of theirs, with flavors including Tex-Mex, Thai, Indian, and Vietnamese. LINK
I have made the 30-Minute Pressure Cooker Chicken and Chickpea Masala a couple of times, and it is good.

Would a sirliin roast do well in one? Rouses has them on sale for $2.67#

I bought that pot as well.
I threw some baby backs in a ginger/Sriracha/garlic brine for a night, tossed them in pressure cooker for 30 minutes, then tossed them on the grill to get a little crust. Finished with a hoisin/bbq sauce, toasted sesame seeds and green onions. The whole thing took less than an hour. It's pretty incredible that you can cook proteins like that in an hour.
I offer nothing to the recipe collection. I'm going to have to do some research myself as that was my first time using it.

pressure cooking today
Recommended by a friend. I have not yet tried any of the recipes, but I've browsed the site and there are some tempting things to try.

Can you get the nice thick pasty style of red beans in 30 mins?

Oh, the rump roast I cooked yesterday was from that cookbook, and I didn't even realize it. You can use much less liquid than the recipe calls for. I really had to reduce the liquid a lot after the roast was done.

I have a pressure cooker and I cook almost exclusively in it.
I bought a pressure cooker cookbook from Americas Test Kitchen and the recipes are freaking amazing.
I'd be happy to share a recipe or two if you tell me what you are interested in cooking. Chicken? Roast? Pork? They have an amazing recipe for coconut curry chicken that I do almost every week. There is also a recipe in the book for pot roast that was the best I have ever had.

I thought about getting a pressure cooker. Then i saw someone post pics of them destroying a kitchen. Kind of scared me off.

That isn't an issue with the more modern pressure cookers. The old style ones can be dangerous but only if they are not used properly. The one I have, the InstantPot, has all sorts of safety features to prevent an explosion.

Interested in trying these new pressure cookers out. My wife recently inquired about them
