Do you even know Miles' buyout next year? Or the year after?

No, of course you don't.

It's $12+M BTW

I think the majority of complaints right now are basically valid. I'm not going to get into a stat war either way, but this program is trending down right now, and anyone with common sense and a willingness to be realistic can see it. It's kind of like the stock market. People who have money at stake predicting the future of a company don't look at the overall record as much as they do the most recent trend. The perfect time to sell "LSU football stock" was at the end of 2011, based on what has happened since then. A HC change, like a company merger or buyout, depending on the HC, might be a time to "buy" again if they don't wait too long to make a change. Or maybe the gamble to keep Les pays off and he turns it around...that's what I hope for. I'm just glad I don't have money depending on it.

Me saying that I hope lsu wins and is successful next year is Les over lsu?

Your entire motivation for wanting LSU to win is to say "nanny nanny boo boo" to people that criticize Les. It's pretty bizarre, really. I want LSU to win because I love LSU. There's a difference.

Finished 3rd, 5th and 4th in the SECW the last three years. That is mediocre.

The end of 2016 will be absolutely no different. Insanity.

It's not up to me to know the buyout.

It's up to Miles to feild a competent offense .

We're fans and yeah we're miserable. .

I love LSU but I'm tired of supporting this man's stubbornness and refusal to adapt.

12.9for 2016 and 2017
8.6 in 2018and
4.3 in 2019
then include the staff buyout and the buyout for the new hire.

I wish you were right but I am very worried they let miles run this program all the way into the ground like Mack did at UT.

We aren't mediocre.

But PLEASE cut up our record till you find a some statistic that says we are.

Unranked last year, borderline unranked this year, 5-7 in the west last year and 4 losses the last six bowl games says otherwise. Mediocre does feel awful. Texas bowl against tech?

Good point cajunandy. They may just let Miles decide when to hang it up. The damage is already done for the most part. 16-8 record with the best tailback in the history of Louisiana football is the evidence. 3-4 losses every year is how life goes for good teams in the SEC. Elite players are littered on almost every team and home field is a big deal.

Now, if he reverts to 3 consecutive 6 or 7 win seasons after that, it'll be rinse and repeat

How can he revert to consecutive 6 or 7 win seasons when he has never won fewer than 8?

So the facts about the contract communicate it will be expensive and painful .

Waiting only costs more in the big picture.

Get Jimbo before it's too late.

King will feel the heat this year if LSU looks ugly again.
