It is a little weird the way the media covers shite related to LSU compared to other teams. It's like any timeout or time clock issue is magnified 10 fold on Miles compared to when other coaches do these things which happens just as much, except with Miles it's because he's an idiot with other coaches it's just part of the game and those kinds of things happen.

Yeah but 90 runs behind Bama's line is physically equivalent to like 20 runs behind LSU's

There was no media outrage. This is a dumb thread. It was just a report that the fournette camp was unhappy. Not the media.

Henry has 339 carries on the season, most in the nation by far. That's only 8 fewer attempts in 13 games than the national leader last year had in 14 games.

With a 5.8 yards per carry average, he is in shape to be the first Heisman winning RB to rush for less than 6 yards per carry since Hershel Walker.

Meanwhile, there are at least half a dozen RBs from Power 5 schools averaging over 6.3 yards per carry on at least 200 carries. But by all means, let's encourage running the student athletes to death by handing out a reward for that instead of performance or talent or ability.

They also had over 85 plays of offense in the seccg...that's a balanced attack.

Yes but whatever Saban does is correct

^^^^THIS^^^^ If LF7 played for Bama it would have never been brought up by the "All Knowing Media".

Derrick Henry finished with the most rushing yards against Florida in the Crimson Tide's SEC Championship Game win, but that was largely a product of volume (as is much of Henry's success this season, frankly). He edged Cook and Fournette with 189 rushing yards-- but needed 44 carries to get there, an average of just 4.3 YPC. It took Henry 28 carries -- two more than Cook had all game against UF -- just to reach 100 yards. Henry got into the end zone just once, didn't register a reception, and lost a fumble, too. His longest rush from scrimmage: 21 yards.

Not impressive

I dont know the context of what was said, but I see a big difference in running LF7 into 9 and 10 man fronts and Henry getting to the line and no one touches him or he is one on one.

Play calling and alignment are a big deal.

LF7 would have been in the rare air of 2,500-3,000 yrds if he ran in the bama offense.
