Has the weather man ever come out and said rain will be coming and it will be here tomorrow at 1pm, and guess what, that rain never came? shite falls through. It doesnt mean he didnt know his shite. It means, like a weather man, he was going off information he had. Let it fricking go dude. You look like an idiot.
Posted on 11/30/15 at 10:33 am to LNCHBOX
Fair enough. But you seem as you do give a shite about him.

What did you hear fricked this up?
FSU countered and it upped the ante which watered down a previous commitment. Combine that with the media thrashing LSU was getting provided the perfect storm. In a weird way, it was as chaotic as was the Miles to Michigan deal.

Has anyone made a less apt analogy?
Well, probably. But yours is still pretty bad.

I don't know what to believe. The exact words that you posted? Or what you are stating now.
And I don't think I'm the one confusing anything. I posted your words to Chicken. Seems to me like you're backpedaling.

For one thing, there's no evidence that anyone at FSU has concerned about this.
No counteroffers, no talk of extensions. If you believe the DALSU chain of events is to believe that FSU more or less didn't care if Jimbo walked and he has been reduced to pretty much "settling" and crawling back to them with his tail tucked between his legs.
I think DALSU had real info. I think he gives good insight into how convinced the powers that be were that Jimbo was on board.
It's the Alexander narrative that's wrong. He didn't nix a deal that was solid. He may have nixed a deal that was clearly already dead...and Alleva took that as an opportunity to save face after the real deal already fell through and Alleva was standing there with his pants down.
The McKay article is designed to attack Alexander for political reasons.
I'm not suggesting that I support Alexander. But, my common sense tells me that there is ZERO chance that he steps in and kills a deal that is ready to go through that has been put together by the biggest boosters, the AD, and with vocal support of several BOS members. It's humorously absurd.

I've read the first 2 pages of the thread where you were essentially calling people idiots for even remotely thinking his info was credible.
You said it was pathetic how he had some of us fooled. You have no way of knowing that his info was not accurate, until the 11th hour. All accounts poinjt towards this falling apart late. As many have said, Miles himself admitted not knowing he was returning until after the game. That's all you really need to hear to know that anything could have happened between Thursday-Saturday night.

Seems to me like you're still "not trying to boom me."

quote:these negotiations happen behind the scenes all over the cfb landscape every year. not ridiculous at all. coaches, boosters and administrators know each other and talk. heck, jimbo has coached here before so it's even less hard to believe that they have struck up conversations with him about returning, especially when you have an 10 or 11 year coach who seems to be waning
to toss around a single coach with chosen coordinators for an agreed amount and confirm it with conviction and almost absolute certainty is ridiculous

Some of his info, yes. That doesn't mean I think nothing was going on.

he absolutely could have done that. not at all unbelievable. it was also reported by someone that the boosters were not all in agreement on removing miles and therefore the money started wavering so, "technically" alexander may not have done it all by himself.
the point is, politics above alleva's head killed the deal and there is no reason da needs to eat crow. however, it would be nice for da to show up and clarify some things like the coordinators comments.
I laugh at your reasoning skills.

Are you now trying to boom me?
Posted on 11/30/15 at 10:37 am to LNCHBOX
What info? All I ever saw him post was that Jimbo was a done deal and some of the staff being brought in would be names we've never heard of, but would still be a strong staff.
That very well could have been the case until the deal fell through.
I could have missed something. Did he give any other specifics that now prove he was completely full of shite?

No, I was fine not carrying on our side convo.

LNCHBOX is right here. DALSU said "Done Deal" at least once in every one of his threads that got whacked. Then all of his cult kept repeating it as fact. But none of that shite happened. No sane, un-biased person would honestly have believed there was better than a 50-50 shot at bringing in Jimbo at ANY TIME of this debacle. A bunch of Miles haters, negas and confused pumpers assumed he was right bc they could only see through their purple and gold glasses. That move would be nothing more than a horizontal move for Jimbo, and coaches dont make horizontal moves
DALSU fooled the majority of this board full of idiots who would believe an anonymous poster on a message board had any better info than us. We all knew LSU wanted Jimbo and Miles was on the hot seat. That's a fact. Any one of us could have done what DALSU did, and stream outrageous info to the masses and have everyone believe it bc thats what they wanted to hear. These horizontal moves just dont happen. Saban isnt leaving Bama for anyone in the NCAA ever, and Jimbo isnt leaving FSU for anyone in the NCAA but maybe Texas

quote:still no proof. you are one brave individual. REMEMBER THE ALAMO!!!!
because they didn't exist
quote:1. that kind of thing happens all the time. here's what i have been told by a friend of sunseri - that jimbo asked him to follow jimbo to lsu if michigan didn't get harbaugh and went after miles.
what makes you think we had coordinators agreed to coming here?
2. because i was hearing a similar story to all the other chatter.
3. because there was no reason to doubt 1 or 2 despite half wit keyboard jockeys like yourself saying otherwise.

Chicken,
Why do you let negative unfounded stuff pollute your site? Can you say 100% that belowpar was someone within LSU? Can you say 100% that DALSU, Random LSU Hero, and/or Vanilla Ice were legitimate sources of inside info? And the dozens of other idiots who spewed the same thing as if they got it from sources?
Now you're using Miles' family on the field and him being carried off as reasoning to support the Jimbo theory? Yes, Miles' job was in jeopardy. Everyone knew that. The issue with dumbasses who believed DALSU is that he was not saying Miles was out, but that Jimbo Fisher was a done deal. That's a whole nother level.
I know the first rule of Tigerdroppings is you can't post negatively about Tigerdroppings, but frick the rules. This incident and the day of the Steel hire are perfect examples of Chicken & Co. letting the Rant turn into an all out shite show. (If you forgot the Steele explosion, I can post some of the ones that were deleted calling out the cess pool this placed turned into.)
Yeah, I'm sure I'll be banned. And I'm sure you'll miss all my many posts.
PS lol at Chicken for believing a troll on his own site.

I never said every piece of info he gave was BS. But the done deal, announcement by mid week, no Saturday or Sunday, no Wednesday, "big development today" stuff was pure BS.

Funny part is you just gave a troll 10 pages of more rant retardness for him to laugh at whomever he is
