Wish we could rewind the clock and go back to fix things. We may get a better coach but not a better man. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. It's just really a shame.

It's a bummer. But the good news is not matter what, Miles is filthy fricking rich.

I agree, I just don't like the way Alleva is handling this. He could have kept this quiet.

As it should. In the end most people just want to give the guy a hug and thank him. He is the living personification of CLASS. I'll miss that man.

I have mixed feelings about it too. You're securing this program's future for a decade but you are losing a wonderful man that represented our school so well for 11 seasons. He had his faults but the man was a winner.

Me too. Very sad. I hope he's happy wherever he ends up and wish he and his family nothing but the best.

I'll admit it's a sad day losing Les and I'll remember him as a great man and a wonderful representative of LSU. I love Miles character as a man and wish him the best of luck in the rest of his life. That said, bring on Jimbo!

This is not why coaches at the upper levels coach.

People keep bringing up the f'ing money.

This is about a coach putting his stamp on a program. The entire country knows about LSU, Les Miles, he's a household name of college football. And now, this dumpster fire the last 2 weeks. No matter if you think he should stay or go.

You thru wallowing in your self pity? This is a business. Miles is paid a lot of $ to win games. He's done some of that in the past but now he's stuck and losing traction fast. Put on your big boy pants and quit whining. Hard decisions have to be made.
It's not like Miles hasn't had the chance to right the ship and $15 mill will go along way in easing his damaged psyche.

People should throw rotten fruit at him on Saturday?
Maybe a brick through his window?
What other things do you want people to do to him?
Give us your list.
You want your pound of flesh, just tell us how you want it delivered.

Exactly!

I feel bad for the kid brought up with no parents and in a foster home their whole life not a success football player then coach who is a multi millionare with a NC ring on his finger.

Les had plenty of opportunities to fix this and either was too hard headed or didn't know how butI can promise he will be just fine. He probably has a million dollar a year job lined up at ESPN as soon as he wants it.
