So is Sammy Baugh.

Fran Tarkington should be on the list. Hall of famer.

You're right.
But the "rings are the thing" crowd forget that Starr has FIVE of them.

Yeah but Starr had a complete team. He was very good but top ten? No. Ild take Luckman or Lane before Starr

Good point Baw. I'm gonna replace Montana with Tarkenton and I think this list will be good to go.

No love for Otto Graham?
I'd go:
1A)Brady
1B)Montana
3) Rodgers (This is projecting-- its imperfect, but so is every Top 10
4) Peyton
5)Marino
6) Otto
7) Unitas
8) Fran
9) Brees
10) Elway or Starr
Mind, the difference between 5 and 10 is which day you ask me. Its not like any of these guys aren't great.

Tom Brady #1 and it's not really close.

Here is a way to look at it without making OP look so dumb.
Let's say you get to have the 1975 Cleveland Browns and for 1 season you can pick any QB from that timeframe or Drew Brees in his prime.
Brees would look so fantastic in that setting, we would probably look back and say he was the GOAT.

The list is Garbage without Elway.
Posted on 11/27/15 at 11:27 am to dukke v
Here's the thing about Elway. He was never named first team All-Pro which means he was never considered the best QB in the league during any given year. Is he really any better than Drew Brees who has the same number of Pro Bowl appearances but actually made an All-Pro team in 2006.
