I've been seeing and reading a lot of talk about how Golden State is going to spark more of a small ball style for teams trying to beat them.

The problem is that no other team has a guy who can pass like a guard, hit 3s, defend the opposing team's 1-5 and rebound.

It's not going to be as easy as teams just copying what the Warriors do. The Warriors couldn't do what they do without Draymond Green.

The Cavs could play LeBron at the 4 and Love or Thompson at the 5 and score their asses off to matchup offensively for a while. Maybe Thompson could actually earn some money and try to neutralize Green a little on the boards and offense.

I actually want to see them against the Spurs because the Spurs have a defensive stopper for Curry in Kawhi and Green can do a good job and two big men that could force Bogut and Ezeli to stay on the court.

To stop them you have to play lights out defense. That is the only thing I can think of.

Has Kawhi shown the ability to guard the 1? I think he guards 2-4 well, but I'm not so sure about 1.

I think you let Curry get his and help everywhere else. The key isn't Curry it's Thompson scoring. You can live with one going off but not both. Example, the Bulls when Jordan went big they usually lost.

Teams get in trouble they help on Curry he kicks out to wide open 3. You just let him go if driving

It is certainly personnel related. Blake Griffin is a reliable three point shot away from that on most nights (can't guard every 1 or 5)

I'm biased, but I think this would be an amazing matchup. Hope Spurs/Warriors is this season's WCF.

You have to have two legit posts and dominate the paint. They play a 6'7 PF. Put in two bigs and pound them. Take your chances slowing the game down and taking high percentage shots
