His production since 1/9 has gone way south. For the talent that he is supposed to have, he is accomplishing nothing. It is not personal, it is about success. Miles is no longer a successful football coach.

I did not find one thing with which I could disagree.

He has not had the talent on the defensive line since 2012 and to a lesser extent on the offensive line since Trai Turner left. I think it may have been a mistake to go and get a zone blocking coach.

You dont hear Anthony Johnson, Ego Ferguson's or Jermauria Rasco's name called in the NFL, and you won't be hearing Godchaux or Lacouture either.

I think Godchaux has a shot. True sophomore. 91 is maxed out.

It's sad to look at our d line after so many years of dominance. Between all the early entries and the recruiting misses in Gilmore, Herron, Bain and Bower it's like a shell of our former nasty d's.

Wow, that is an outstanding article that the national media should be forced to read..

it's something they were finally emphasizing and addressing in this year's class after hiring coach O

Pendergast is coaching LBs at SF on the same staff with Henry and McGaughey actually. What could have been!

Great article and totally agree. The only things I'd add are his woeful clock management, trumping the offensive play calling, and in spite of having top 5-10 recruiting classes almost every year, he's always lacking in a particular area/position that winds up biting us in the arse a year or two later.

Oh, there's so much more than even that. That's just the low hanging fruit.

That was a really good article. I hate that it's come to this but you HAVE to move on at this point. Let Miles coach the A&M game and then let him go and go get a new coach. LSU doesn't need to waste another year just because of loyalty. Les has gotten plenty from LSU. I will always love and appreciate Les but it's over. Time to move on.

But we have had the talent on offense. When you can't line up a play at this level it's coaching. Peewee teams can get a play off faster the LSU. I could agree with you more if we were getting beat 38 to 35 but not by two or more touchdowns.

After reading this article, logically we should agree that it's time for a HC change after A&M game, even with the risk of not getting a top notch coach.

I think Godchaux would be a better DE than DT but due to our lack of depth at DT he put on some weight to play the position. He is at a disadvantage against Arkansas and Alabama going up against their size. Our DL is not big and when teams run above 60 plays we don't have the bodies to hold up.
