This is why I can't understand the people who want him to stay have a hard time comprehending.

I see they picked up some of this insight from my thread about fullbacks lol

Sounds like two hacks to me regurgitating what others have already said a million times over.
What you'll ready in every article about Miles:
1. "His vast resources"
2. "Offense has struggled"
3. "He's 13-10 in the SEC since 1/9"
4. "He's a nice man"
Repeating what others have said doesn't make you a journalist.

The infamous 21-0 loss to Alabama in the 2011 BCS title game was the tipping point in Miles' 11-year tenure. He and the LSU program have not been the same since.
Before that inexplicable loss, Miles was 8-10 in games in which LSU was considered an underdog, including decisive bowl wins against Miami, Fla., and Georgia Tech. In that span, the Tigers lost only six games to teams they were favored to beat, or roughly one a year.
Since and including the 2011 BCS championship game, Miles is 0-for-10 in games as an underdog. Yet, in that span, his teams have managed to lose six games in which they were favored.

The outside world hasn't witnessed LSU's dumpster fire of an offense in which the most radical imagination you'll see is a jet sweep with a wide receiver.

That article is the gospel.

How any mouth breather fails to see the sheer and utter incompetence is beyond me.

Thanks for wasting my time. Puppets for Alleva and the new coach they know moving forward who will be buttering their bread. I thought u had found an objective reporter without skin in the game. Don't be so naive.

Meanwhile, the Tigers' pop-gun offense has ranked 94th or worse nationally in six of the past seven seasons. There's simply no excuse for such putrid production with the kind of talent LSU annually fields on offense.
THIS is the reason he has to go...

I thought Ole Miss was a favorite last year. Regardless, there it is.

Amen. It's time for Miles to go, bottom line.

The situation is not about him staying now. It's about the way he is being treated by his own AD and BOS, it's highly unprofessional and looks bad on the institution.
He deserves to be fired, but deserves more respect than this.

Agreed. Very level headed analysis.
