All of the links to the articles by Jimmy Smith, Rabalais, etc, have contained information leaked by "sources" - which is really no different than an individual on this board posting something from their own "sources".
The implicit assumption is that sports writers must have infallible sources, but I think it's obvious that there are a few posters on this board that certainly have legitimate connections.

Do you honestly not see the difference between someone that is a professional, using their own name, and willing to risk their personal and professional credibility on a subject...as opposed to someone on here that is anonymous and really only risking a screen name?
I mean, if someone wants to come forward, use their real name, allow us to verify who they are, and spill what they know...then I'm all for it.

Yeah but they actually have to put their name on their work and put their credibility at stake.
There is nothing to stop any loser that posts here that they have inside information when they have no consequences to pay if they are wrong.
