Get a Neato baw. Much better cleaning. Also do a search. Several threads here discussing the two.

Neato isn't perfect, but it's much better than roomba. I've had both.
Roomba destroyed furniture. It constantly rams in to stuff and missed spots.
Neato will throw up a blocked path error and will be stuck in one spot when it's next to the wall every once in a while, but for the most part no issues. It gets everywhere and when it runs out of battery, it goes back and charges, then returns to where it left off. Unlike roomba that is just chaos. 1 machine gets my whole house. Roomba would have gotten lost and the battery would die if it tried to do that. Neato knows where it is. It also is MUCH more gentle when bumping into furniture.
