Sitting here dying to know opening day results. Especially from Mecca area. Will be traveling to God's Country on Monday but there are still some Texas ducks that need to be taken out tomorrow so post up some carnage.

It was kinda slow at Lake Fausse Point. It was dead calm until the front passed thru and then came the rain. The water was high as giraffe vagina, which I believe hurt us.

We managed some teal and a few spoonies...we passed on some scaup.

LOTS of teal in Bunkie...limits in 20mins. About half blue wings and half green wings. Saw a few mallards and decent number of greys. Lots of bootlips as usual but easy to lay off of em with all the teal.

I heard cans, teal, spoons, blackjacks and a few mallards at the cat.

MWP - it is slow going on 15 south of Mecca - several camps / clubs are reporting 20 year lows for weekend openers.

I hunted hard yesterday and today - with minimal results. It was very discouraging. The blinds south of us were empty today - yesterday they were at capacity with guns.

We had a slow opener in chicot county Arkansas. There were piles of teal and some other scraps between lake village and McGhee but that was it as we killed a few mallards and a couple grays just a little but south. Guys I know near Bonita were real slow also.
