If cook goes off these next two games he should win it. Fsu would not be close to where they are without him. Bama would still have just one loss even without Henry. And before anyone starts...... Fournette is no longer in the discussion.

it's a joke ... henry isn't the best player in football, and neither is cook ...

Cook is phenomenal.
Zeke is better than both IMO.
BTW, Jimbeaux is coming home FYI

but he should be (if it's an award for rbs/qbs) ... anyone with a brain knows lsu's offense is hamstrung by miles' reluctance to develop a passing game ... d#7 is the reason lsu has lost only 2 games, even with teams keying on him ...

what are his stats? ... cause he's not playing stiff competition up there ...

quote:He may be better, but much better? You saw firsthand Zeke run for 230 against Bama. Very few running backs could be described as "much better" than that type of player.
I think Cook is much better than Zeke.

Yeah, Zeke has played against such a tough schedule.

Zeke is very impressive, but those runs were a product of Alabama players being way out of position and not filling gaps. You're going to take that horribly

Why would that matter? The Heisman is not meant to be given to a guy based on previous season, but we have plenty of information last year to argue why he's the best out of the three. He's the most complete back. He's good out of the backfield and to my knowledge hasn't missed a block this year. He's an animal.
Henry is a dog for sure and has gone up against some better competition lately, but was a complete nobody really until the Tennessee game. He's peaking at the right time, though.
Fournette is obviously still the best though.

quote:LF is the most complete back. If Cook wasn't so damn tough, I MIGHT have Zeke over him. Cook is a fricking monster, though. His tackle breaking ability isn't fair when you add it to everything else he does. In college, I think the 4 rank as follows..
He's the most complete back
LF
Cook
Zeke
Henry
I could see any of the first 3 having the better pro career. All 3 of them seem like they'll translate very well in the NFL.

When Cook runs he makes Henry look like a parked car.

I always thought Cook was better than Fournette back when he was getting a ton of hype and he's better than Henry as well. You need to have elite burst and acceleration to be a top RB in the NFL and Cook has it in spades. He's the best NFL Draft RB prospect by far in college right now.

They've done away with the plays like that.
Kiffin has done away with it. We barely ran it all with Blake last year too.

LF7 is a better prospect. He may not be as fast as Cook, but he is plenty fast enough. Not to mention bigger, stronger, and more durable. We don't use him enough in the passing game but he is averaging 18 yards a pass when we do give it to him.
