Would there be any interest in a board rewatch of a popular show?

I was thinking about this last week...could be cool if we had solid participation of a popular show that most people have seen already. And I guess the only caveat would be that it has to be finished, otherwise we already have ongoing season discussions during current shows.
We did it for Fringe last year (and into this year) and it worked pretty well...just that instead of there being lots of people participating, there were only about three or four of us, but the format worked pretty well. Fringe is an hour long show (so about 41/42 minutes per episode), and we did three episodes a week. Discussion began on Monday mornings and I updated the OP with the new episode assignments to watch for that week. We even had off weeks between seasons to give ourselves a break.
Now Fringe isn't nearly as popular as other shows on this board, so I think we could get more participation for other things. Could be just about anything that most people would want (and me I guess since I would keep the OP current.
I was thinking maybe something like The Wire, which I've been thinking about rewatching lately, and is partly where this idea came from. Battlestar Galactica is another that came to mind, except that I've never seen it (but could be willing to do it for a board rewatch). And in that same vein, I've never seen The Sporanos either, but that would be another good one IMO (and I know how it ends already). Could even get into something like Star Trek: The Next Generation, as I remember watching some of that in high school and liking it a lot.
Lost could be good (had some great discussion threads during its initial run), but I've already seen it twice (but I could be persuaded I guess). I watched Breaking Bad fairly recently as well, and in some episodes I went back and read the board threads and sort of followed along.
And it wouldn't even have to be a "serious" show. I was thinking that something like Psych or even a show like Scrubs could be cool/fun to do (although those shows naturally lend themselves to less discussion than more serious shows that are plot driven).
FYI, my #1 choice for this would likely be The Wonder Years, but those seasons aren't really available (without having to torrent or something like that).
Anyway, just wanted to gauge interest and see if people would be interested...and by that I mean actively participate instead of just saying they would and then would avoid the thread like the plague (looking at you, Fringe assholes ).

I rewatch FNL, House and Supernatural every single year.
Other than those three, nah.

I already started rewatching The Wire...on season 2 now, still great!

If The Wire is chosen, I'll go ahead and watch the whole series this time.

I'm in but only if we're rewatching Don't Trust The B in Apartment 23

I wanted to jump in the Fringe threads but I had never watched it all the way through aside from an episode here or there and was kind of told at the beginning that I'd get spoiled.
If there was a way to rewatch a popular show that maybe some folks missed but want to participate without spoiling it (keeping the discussion to the episodes) that'd be cool but I know it'd be tough to do.
I'd be down for The Wire or The Sopranos. Star Trek:Next Generation too.
BTW, they have The Wonder Years on Netflix.

I love the idea, but:
That pace is impossible to keep up for me. That's why I didn't participate with Fringe. I could maybe do 2 a week, but don't limit it just for me.
I like
and
The problem with something like Lost is the length. These things work best with 4-5 season shows with 13-18 episodes. 6 Seasons with nearly 22 episodes every season, that's rough.

Go old school and let's all rewatch Wings or Cheers.

I'm pretty sure the wonder years is on Netflix. Also I would be interested in a Battlestar Galactica rewatch. I've only seen it once. It used to be on Netflix, but I'm not sure if it's still there. I've already seen The Wire twice, and I've watched The Sopranos fairly recently.

That's next on our list, but neither of us has seen it, so not a rewatch for us.

YES.
I think I've mentinoed this before (probably on the heels of the fringe rewatch) but I'd love to. Some questions:
-Obviously everyone has different schedules. Would we nominate one night a week to knock out several eps, or maybe pick a few nights a week to just watch 1 ep?
-Will there be a vote for the show?
-Will we have a "moderator" that gives a countdown on when we start each episode, so we're all watching at the same time?

I know you're half-joking, but that was an awesome show.

Yeah, I had a note about that in the Fringe thread. IMO it could be a cool way to watch a show (in a rewatch thread), but there are definitely some opportunities for spoilers. And with Fringe, it ended up being just four of us (me, catholictiger, Myth...and jamsmiley here and there) for the most part, so there wasn't really a whole lot of spoiler talk. Wish you could've joined in.

The whole thing? If so, then that's on the table as well. And even if not, I may just watch it on my own anyway to see if it still holds up as one of my top shows.

We don't have to do the same pace this time around...just was saying it worked last time. And agian, part of that reason is because so few people took part. If more people did, say, a Wire rewatch, we could ease it back to 2 a week if that worked best for the masses.
If I'm voting, I vote for either The Wire or Wonder Years. TWY isn't as serious a show, but there were still overarching plots that could generate some solid discussion.

3 episodes per week on fringe...did yall pick 3 nights and watch 1 ep each, or binge 3 episodes once a week?
and to the person who said Wings...FRICK YES. I used to watch that show in middle school every day on summer break. Love the hell out of that show but haven't seen it in years. As a child I was both scared of and strangely attracted to Helen.

Do SBTB. Might be fun to over analyze every episode.
