As a Les Miles fan, I still get upset with his stubbornness, and inability to adapt and attack a team's weaknesses as opposed to simply doing what we do best regardless of the other teams' strengths and weaknesses.

However, most of you may have seen this, but this is the first time I have seen it. When asked about losing five in a row and if he has thought about adapting the offense to become more effective against Alabama......Les replied that we have not been in a position to win only twice in the five games....so why change our scheme because we weren't effective only twice.........or something to that effect. It is frustrating that we have yet to adapt, and it appeared we had no contingency plan in case the run failed.....but it's even more frustrating that Les still doesn't believe that his strategy is flawed.....it's unbelievable....and I'm a Miles fan.

This is why a number of fans have turned against Miles. Your patience/tolerance level is higher than a lot of others because of Miles past accomplishments, and justifiably so.

I reached a point shortly after 1/9 where it just wasn't good enough to beat everyone EXCEPT Bama. This team has single-handedly derailed our season almost every year for some time.

Very tired of it. Miles is a great rep for LSU but his stubbornness has been his undoing against Bama.

Don't try and change your tune now. You have months worth of bump-worthy material belittling any poster that pointed out that LSU would not be able to run the ball down the throats of every opponent on the schedule, and developing an adequate passing game should be a priority. You didn't just disagree with posters, you went on all out assaults attacking the mental capabilities of those posters.

Why are you now trying to say that Miles sometimes frustrates you? Are you making one of those "knee-jerk" reactions that you chided others for?

The pumpers fail on just about every point they make.

But the biggest point they fail on:

Alabama is built to beat lsu and lsu is built to win all the other sec games and HOPEFULLY get lucky against Alabama.

They don't get that by Alabama beating lsu head to head, that we are 1 and a half games behind.

If we lose to atm or Arkansas, but are better prepared to beat Bama, we have a shot at Atlanta.....due to a tie breaker. Saban gets that the west can usually come down to Bama, lsu and one other west team.

Milesveto doesn't.

Oh and one more thing. Regardless of offensive style, the chances ALWAYS improve when you start on your own 35 yard line instead of the 25. ..... Kick the fricking ball out of the endzone if you suck at kicking "coffin corner" kick.

The offensive unit had no faith in the game plan, thus the blank looks on their faces. They're not stupid.

Don't you love it when these Pro Miles Internet Bullies get hoisted up by their own Petard? I do.

The Pro Miles internet bullies indeed DO go on all out assaults, personal attacks and insults, heaped to the sky on everyone and ANYone who expresses discontent with the LSU head football coach.

Pro Miles Internet Bully folks -- you know who you are!

We see the same issue with our Punter. Les keeps saying our punter is great, but in reality, he is a below average punter. He is too stubborn to make a change.

I have been and AM a Miles Fan.

However, I have been very critical of him at times....Namely 1/9, Arkansas last year, and this past game. All were inexplicable.

Other than those three games, I haven't had a lot of fault with Miles. Sometimes, we just get our arse beat.......

You are absolutely incorrect saying that I didn't think we needed to develop a passing game.....I absolutely believe that it is necessary in order for LSU to win it all. I BELIEVED that we had done that over the last several weeks, and that we now had the offense, with a mobile QB, a WR advantage, and great RB...to beat bama.

Unfortunately, and inexplicably, Miles chose to go completely status quo....and try and pound the ball over and over. It was a pathetic job of game-planning with no contingencies....

That said....I do think you and others are a joke on here because you think the guy is a bad coach. He is one of the top coaches in the country and LSU has never had more success than they have right now. There are some ignorant posters on here that yes, are completely knee-jerk and unrealistic fans....mostly kids I realize...but there is very little wisdom on this site.

I'm not knee-jerk at all. I still think LSU has a very realistic shot at winning it all, as long as they take care of what they control. This is still a very good team, albeit young, that I think grew up a lot on Saturday night. We will find out this Saturday.

But hey chimp....you keep doing what you do....use that intelligence that you always display. Calling things realistically as they are isn't being a negatiger. Unrealistically bashing when the results don't warrant it....is.

Maybe Miles wanted to tell us that we should accept to fact that beating Alabama & Saban is very very hard, just as hard as beating Kentucky & Calipari in men's basketball which LSU can only do it few times in the last 10 years (with Ben Simmons, maybe this is the year?).

I'm Pro Champagne, Pro Chimpanzee, Pro Ell, if they are coaching this LSU team to the success that LSU has had over the last 10 years....you damn right. I don't care what the name is beside the Pro.......I'm forever who leads this team to the best 10 year run in LSU's history. It doesn't mean that there is no fault, and that he is above questioning.....but it does mean that if you are realistic, and over the age of 30...you realize that these are the golden years of LSU football and there has never been a period of time that LSU has had this much success.....ever. You don't get that, and the other's don't get it either...but unfortunately, you will one day....and you will rejoice for a 10 win season.

LSU is still very much in the SEC and NC picture, and we are in mid November......so go spew your negative LSU shite elsewhere pussy.

Just and aside - but does the staff tell the kicker to not kick the ball into the end zone on kickoffs? If not, then we really need a kickoff specialist.
