That's only from her courtesy appointment within the School of Journalism.
The Department of Communications (for which she is a prof) is in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Basically this means the School of Journalism will not allow her to teach any courses within its degree program or for her to perform any research under the School's name.

That is her "courtesy" appointment with the school of journalism, but she is she removed from her position in the arts and science's communications department as well?

That doesn't mean that she's fired. Her position with the journalism school was limited. She's still part of Mizz's Department of Communication.
