Looking for Caribbean/Mexico beach family vacation ideas (kids are 4, 6 and 8). We have been to Turks and Caicos and that was incredible, just looking for something different.

Any places you guys been that you and the family really enjoyed?

Playa del Carmen seemed pretty family friendly when I went there.

Atlantis was expensive as frick. I loved Cayman and I'm planning on BVI's this summer.

Just don't go when the cruise ships are docked. Way too many people at the park when that happens.

Gotcha on that one. I'm going for my 30th... with or without someone. Call me poor but I've never been able to afford traveling until recently and I have heard too many good things about that area to pass it up. It helps that I'm a diver... I can't stand sand though so I can care less what the actual beach looks like.

Leaning towards Mexico or the Bahamas. Kids may not care about the difference between there and Orange Beach, but, I will.

I would like to do something with mountains like Nevis, but, don't think the kids are ready for that flight.
