Used to watch them with my pops back in the day, but was pretty young (25 now).

Caught the first two and seem to be enjoying it. Mulder and Scully provide a great clash of beliefs.

This was spawned by me seeing a preview of The X Files returning

One of the few shows that was way ahead of its time. In addition, they were far superior to the two godawful movies.

Judging by the standards of today, my hopes aren't up for this reboot.

I think The X-Files was the best-ever series of its genre in the history of television.

Theme music was the tits. Didn't have to be watching the TV to know what was coming on.

My personal all time favorite show. If you are enjoying the first season you are in for a real treat. For the first three seasons each one is better than the last. Then it stays at a really high level until season 6. Tails off a bit after that, but still better than most shows.

Squeeze, Ice, Eve, Beyond the Sea, and the season finale are all truly fantastic episodes.

We're nearly identical in this regard then. Watched the show with my dad growing up, 25 now, but I re watched the entire series a few years ago. Waiting on the reboot like

I'm aware Mulder leaves the show and that guy who plays in the Terminator takes his spot for a few seasons..not looking forward to that

Love X Files. The funny episodes are my favorite ones. The vampire, he said/she said episode with Luke Wilson is my favorite. Very funny shite.

When marathoning the show, Scully can get really annoying with her disbelief of obvious supernatural / alien / crazy arse shite.

I was hooked on this show from the first episode. My wife recently bought me the entire DVD collection and I've been slowly watching a few episodes at a time.
I had forgotten how clever Mulder was with his cynical jokes and one liners.
I am eagerly anticipating the return of the series next year.
