He'll be allowed to play at Illinois but I could see Urban sitting him another game. Similar to what he did with Marcus Hall and the double bird incident.

At this point, I still say it should end his season. I'll be disappointed if he plays this year, but disgusted if he plays the Illinois game.

Pardon my ignorance as I've never heard of an ovi but how do you get an ovi and not a dui

I hate Ohio State, but we are talking a misdemeanor for being under 21. Its not a DUI and he wasn't arrested. How many of you guys ever drank under 21 or questioned if you should be driving? Quit pretending you all are saints.

I don't agree at all. Should be 2-3 games.

Let's be honest. He's not needed vs Illinois. Just suspend him that game and nobody will care in Ohio.

Exactly

Like I said, I can see Urban doing the silent suspension for that game

If you're going to run your mouth, at least know what you're talking about in the first place.

quote:

In Ohio, law enforcement primarily use the term OVI (operating a vehicle under the influence) which is the same as a DUI (driving under the influence) in other states.

Yes, I drank before I was 21, but I've never been stupid enough to drive after doing so.

That is only in a court of law. The school can have it's own set of rules it'll bend and the public can judge how it sees fit.

He's an idiot who is too stupid to appreciate the opportunity he'd been given.

I'd be fine with four games and the postseason.

He needs to use the too drunk to consent defense.

Would love to hear your logic behind a 5 game suspension.

School policy says 2 games. They say it doesn't apply as it was a misdemeanor, but some of you want him done for the year? Wow.

I mean, you could be telling the truth, but based on the little I've seen of your posts this year, I'd have to " " slightly at the above.

And FWIW, 2 game suspension and I'm happy.
