Fournette ran for 180 yards in that "big" game. Funny how you leave that out.

Figured it was common knowledge. He definitely had a good game. 5.8 yards per game is not Heisman numbers. Period. His Heisman numbers come from the weaker opponents. Same as what people are knocking Boykin for in this thread. That's my only point.

What were Herschel Walker's and Bo Jackson's YPC averages? Go look. They won the Heisman. Mark Ingram in big games?

You don't know what you are talking about. Get out of here with that.

Fournette might average 5 ypc against Alabama. If he controls the game, runs for 150 yds on 30 carries and has 2-3 TDs and LSU wins, he will see up the Heisman. It will be over.

Considering Mark Ingram had 6 games where he averaged 5.8 yards or less per carry during his Heisman year I'd say you're wrong.

Good thing he is over 190 yards per game then right? And well over 7 YPC.

Go look up the last 3 heisman RBs and find their season low YPC.

Ingram 2009

So his lowest yards per carry in the entire season so far is what you base this ridiculous comment off of?? How about the entire season for these guys...

1982 Herschel
ypc - 5.2

1985 Bo Jackson
ypc = 6.4

1998 Ricky Williams
ypc = 5.9

1999 Ron Dayne
ypc = 6.0

2010 Marc Ingram
ypc = 5.5

What an idiot. Ban yourself, please. 180 yards against arguably the best defense in SEC and the country is not "pedestrian".

bullshite. 5.8 on itself is good and to do it against a top 15 rush defense is ridiculous! Trent Richardson was third in heisman voting and he averaged 5.9 for the year. Ingram won the heisman and he averaged 6.12 for the year. If he averages 5.8 ypc on his worst days, I'd HATE to defense this dude.

I have yet to see a RB tear up the defenses that Fournette played as well as he did.

I mean shite dude, he could have set a new SEC single game rushing record against Auburn. He could have went over 300 vs Syracuse if not for his second long TD wasn't called back because of some bullshite. He had 158 with 10:30 to go in the 3rd quarter vs South Carolina and you see how bad Guice tore that defense up after Fournette turned it into putty.

He was only the 10th player in NCAA history with 1000 yards rushing in his first 5 games (he did it in 4.5 games). He was the first RB in SEC history to rush for 3 consecutive 200+ yard games and he was doing it when we had no passing offense to speak of.
