For the 3rd time this season LSU's game will be broadcast on ESPNU. For those of us with Cox, that requires the purchase of a premium package, in addition to the premium package required to get the SEC Network, to watch LSU. That is 25% of LSU's games that fans must pay extra for.

LSU fans already put up with changes to game times for television's convenience. Why should we also have to pay higher costs than those of our SEC partners for the pleasure of watching our favorite team play? Why doesn't the SEC insist some of our games be broadcast on the SEC Network instead of an ESPN premium channel?

Or you could just go to the game.

What about cord cutters? Shouldn't all our games be free on CBS?

Maybe hit up your favorite sports bar and drown your sorrows.

You can watch ESPNU on the internet if you are a Cox subscriber.

I use an HDMI cable and watch it on my TV.

It ain't rocket science.

Most fans are more concerned that it's a night game versus a day game. I'm just thankful that they are broadcast. I'm old enough to remember the days when our games weren't televised for the most part and had to rely on radio coverage.

It's Western Kentucky... the SECN is showing conference games all day. The game is at night like we want, so now we have to complain about the network.

If Att Uverse is available in your area it is better than Cox

Same here

I'd rather pay a little more and be able to watch it as opposed to not having the option at all or having to order it per game

Keep in mind with respect to uverse, "available in your area" and "works in your area" are two completely different things.

I'm pretty sure that as recently as 2006 there were games that weren't televised.

Well done. You are 100% correct.

The Kentucky game was radio only and three other games were broadcast on TigerVision.

Further proof that my memory ain't what it used to be.

ColTiger, I too used to not get TV games, only radio. Usually WWL 870 am. Usually at night. Knoe sometimes carried a day game. My son, who was born and raised in La., just moved to Denver with his job. We are glad games are on ESPNU or the SECNetwork. Over in Ms. I'm glad to get them.
