Field Condition in Rain

Our playing surface is notoriously terrible under good conditions, and with the rain today it doesn't look positive (worse than '10 Cap One Bowl). I hope we can get a lead early so LF7 isn't on the field as often with the potential of the playing surface causing serious injury. I think the point has long come that we need artificial turf. It would increase the speed of our team and favors our unique talents as opposed to our adversaries.

What? Where have you hear that it's notoriously terrible under normal conditions?

Uhh really?
And you do realize that artificial turf actually increase the risk of a knee or ankle injury, right?

You're a complete idiot! Are you talking about Baylor or LSU.

So the turf in Tiger Stadium is less than 13 days old?

Turf would definitely have deeper roots if they didn't have to rip out and install new sod every summer, after the bayou country superfest

Less than an inch is expected today. Do you even weather underground bro?

It really used to be....but many years back, they did a wholesale rebuild of the subsurface to allow for better drainage and replaced some of the subsurface material that was depleted of nutrients which wasn't conducive to solid rooting. It is actually a VERY GOOD natural grass surface these days.

I've been to several different stadiums across the SEC, Big 12, PAC12, and Mountain West conferences. I've never seen a field as consistently torn up and raggedy as ours.

Then you need glasses or something, is totally idiotic

Don't mention Rain!! I got crucified by the Rantard Weather Nazis for even starting a thread asking about the possibility of rain for the game!

You're certainly the only person to have ever traveled. LSUs field has never been near the game in orlando.

LSU hasn't had an issue in years since they pulled the entire thing up and started over. Been in fantastic shape ever since
You're uninformed

I like the way you are going down with the ship on a shitty thread. Lol.
