Anyone here live in Santamaw/Gonzales?

I might be relocating for work and I was told these are decent areas to move to with small children a little away from the hustle of BR. Is it better to be in the East Ascension or Santamaw school district?

Dutchtown/Pville would be preferred.

Live in Prairieville, Dutchtown, or St. Amant. The EA district is going downhill

I think academically they are about the same. I guess St Amant would be considered a little more "country". Gonzales seems to be a little more "urban". Prairieville is probably a little of both. P'ville is split between ea and dutchtown.
I live in Gonzales. My kids go to EA. But, I kind of like the way the Dutchtown area looks.

all of p'ville doesn't go to d'town. Parts of it still go to EA.

Basically the same education. You have neighborhoods with 200 to 300 thousand dollar homes right down the road from a trailor or trailor parks. St.Amant does have some beautiful land if that's what you are after. I prefer the neighborhood setting right now while my kids are young but I live in a good neighborhood.
